Job description
Finlays Colombo Limited is hiring an Intern - Shipping to support our shipping and export documentation team at Welisara.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing shipping documents and coordinating with internal teams for timely shipment planning
Support accuracy and maintenance of shipping lists and documentation records
Prepare and submit post-shipment documents to regulatory bodies (e.g., ASYCUDA, Sri Lanka Tea Board)
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and follow up on documentation
Maintain weekly export records and track shipment proceeds
Requirements
Undergraduate or recent graduate in a relevant field
Strong communication and coordination skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proficient in MS Office; export knowledge is an advantage
