Job description
CBC Finance PLC - a fully owned subsidiary of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC - is hiring an IT Procurement & Administration Officer in Colombo.

Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end IT procurement process, including obtaining and evaluating quotations from vendors
Coordinate with IT vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing, and follow up on deliveries and services
Prepare procurement comparison sheets, Purchase Orders (POs), and related documentation
Prepare memos and approval documents required to obtain management/ITSC/BITC/Board approvals for IT procurement activities
Manage and maintain the IT vendor database, including vendor details, contracts, agreements, renewals, and performance records
Coordinate vendor registration, evaluation, annual reviews, and renewals
Manage IT assets, including asset records, allocation, transfers, returns, tagging, and disposal
Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, subscriptions, warranties, maintenance agreements, and SLAs
Monitor contract, license, warranty, and subscription expiry dates and coordinate timely renewals
Prepare and maintain internal IT documentation, agreements, approval records, and procurement files
Coordinate with Finance, Administration, Procurement, Legal, and other relevant departments on IT procurement and documentation
Maintain proper records for audit and compliance requirements
Assist in preparing IT procurement, asset, vendor, contract, and expenditure reports
Ensure IT procurement and asset management activities comply with company policies and procedures
Perform other IT procurement and administrative duties assigned by the Head of IT
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, asset management, or a similar role
Experience in handling IT equipment, software licenses, subscriptions, maintenance agreements, and IT services will be an added advantage
Good knowledge of quotation management, vendor evaluation, procurement documentation, contracts, and asset management
Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office / GSuite, particularly Excel and Word
Experience in a financial institution or regulated environment will be an added advantage
